Una serie di progetti interpretati secondo differenti prospettive: prototipi, concept, prodotti multimediali, si integrano all’interno di un allestimento scenografico e multidisciplinare che restituisce la varietà di approcci intrinseca all’università.
Iuav e San Marino propongono così, tra l’impegnato e l’ironico, arredi e oggetti risultato dei laboratori, degli workshop, delle tesi di laurea: ricerche progettuali attorno al concetto di limite che giocano sul confine tra tutto quello che esiste di tangibile – la componente, l’elemento fisico, perfino l’ingrediente – e ciò che al contrario non si percepisce – il principio energetico, il processo chimico, l’effetto della reazione.
E ribadendo la necessità della riflessione culturale che l’università deve saper offrire, sarà inoltre distribuita ai visitatori una serie di cartoline con pensieri e spunti, elaborati da alcuni dei molti designer di livello internazionale che vi insegnano. Perché in fondo il design, oltre che innescare soluzioni innovative, può fungere da cartina tornasole sulla condizione del presente. Ma prima di tutto deve far pensare.

A series of projects interpreted from different points of view: prototypes, concepts, multimedia products, complete one another within a scenographic and multi-disciplinary exhibition design that illustrates the variety of approaches intrinsic to a University.
Iuav and San Marino, in a spirit of commitment and irony, present furniture and objects from the design studios, the workshops, the theses projects: design research that explores the concept of limit, and testing the boundaries of everything that is tangible-the component, the physical element, even the ingredient-and what on the contrary is imperceptible-the energy principle, the chemical process, the reaction.
And emphasizing the need for a cultural debate that the University must necessarily offer, visitors will be given a series of postcards with thoughts and ideas, developed by some of the many international designers that teach there. Because not only can design offer innovative solutions, it can also serve as a litmus test for the conditions of the present. But above all it must stimulate thought.
